With Periods 1 and 4, we continued to talk about how we can calculate the number of moles from the mass of a compound and how we can calculate the mass of a certain number of moles of a compound. There was a new worksheet given out. Check below! For Period 2, we learned about molar mass. Check yesterday's powerpoint please!
After reviewing how to convert from moles to atoms and atoms to moles, we learned about another way to measure matter and that is through the mass. Check out the powerpoint!
New unit today!! We are talking about how to measure mass and learned about a new quantity called the mole. Check out the partial notes that were given out in class and the powerpoint for today!
Today, everyone received Test 1 (from 9/27!) back and we reviewed the answers. Then we had a PB&J demo to show how detailed a methods section should be. Remember that the Taco Sauce Cleaner Lab Report is due next Tuesday! Check out the powerpoint!
